Where ~half~ of the magic happens! Editing… it’s so important before you edit to try to have an image that is properly exposed in order to have the best results afterwards. Everyone’s flow and editing style is different - which makes us all unique 🌸 My flow is typically this: •Choose a Kodak film preset to work off of (I don’t always use the same one or any at all depending on the vibe of a session - but if I do it’s important to use the same one throughout the session for consistency) •edit light & color to my eye and editing style’s preferences (my images trend light, vibrant, warm but with muted greens - I love color but I do not personally like a saturation overload) •check to see if I need to remove any objects from the background or in subject’s faces •check to make sure that everything is sharp enough Once I edit a photo, I typically copy the edit settings and paste them onto similarly lit images (sometimes there are only 2-3 in a row that are the same!) so this process repeats itself over and over until I’m finished with a session 🪄 😅🫶 While editing can be time consuming, it’s also very relaxing to me, and having little tricks to help you move it along is so important!
